(LUCERO) What a day at the ARCH Horse Rescue Centre brings. Alerted by SEPRONA in Almería and some information from a local vet, a quick team decision was made to take in the horse in question. From there on it was all go to liaise with the authorities, get transport organized, prepare documents, shuffle some of our residents around to make space for the new arrival, and then wait. At 11 pm Lucero arrived, skinny, with some open wounds, shaken from the long journey and very hungry. This morning he will get a good check-up from our vet Rocía and we will take it from there.
